It’s very clear how Hubs and I could stay together after a decade – we are so opposite of each other, akin to a magnet*. The more opposing we are, the more we pull towards each other. We need each other’s strengths and weakness to fill in the void that we may have in our own characters.
When he is calm, I am frantic. When he is quiet, I am boisterous. When he is analytical, I am creative. And especially when I do not make sense, he makes sure that I do eventually.
